Strategic technology partnership helps in operational efficiencies and future-proofing the business

This collaboration marks a crucial step in ACEN’s efforts to scale up its technology infrastructure, thus helping streamline operations and future-proof its business.

As the Philippines opens up its retail electricity market to more electricity end-users with the lowering of the eligibility threshold, ACEN’s retail unit, ACEN RES is scaling its operations by utilising Gentrack’s advanced technology stack to provide seamless, 100% renewable energy solutions to a growing portfolio of businesses and institutions nationwide. ACEN RES is currently the Philippines’ largest green energy supplier chosen by 6 out of 10 customers in the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP). GEOP is a policy mechanism that gives businesses and institutions in the Philippines the option to source their power exclusively from renewable energy sources by partnering with a licensed retail electricity supplier like ACEN RES.

The solution will be hosted on AWS Cloud and includes Salesforce, which has been the world’s leading CRM platform for several years. Salesforce is seamlessly pre-integrated into Gentrack’s solution designed specifically for utilities. It features pre-packaged journeys and utilities functionality eliminating the need for extensive customisations. This allows maximum flexibility for ACEN while helping reduce the cost-to-serve.
