Ecotricity, Citizens Advice UK’s top-ranking energy retailer, extends partnership with Gentrack to drive innovation amid industry change 

Gentrack (NZX/ASX: GTK), the leading next-generation utility solution provider, today announced an extension of its strategic partnership with Ecotricity, Britain’s greenest energy company. Recognised as the winner of two consecutive editions of the Citizens Advice Customer Experience ranking and named a Recommended Provider for Energy Companies in 2024 by Which?, Ecotricity has decided to continue its collaboration with Gentrack to support its ongoing commitment to innovation. 

Since transitioning from its legacy system, Ecotricity has relied on Gentrack’s industry-leading software to manage customer interactions and billing processes. In this new phase of the partnership, Gentrack will play a crucial role in assisting Ecotricity as it navigates the evolving energy landscape, including the Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) rollout. This collaboration will also focus on driving further billing innovation and developing new, compelling propositions tailored to the needs of Ecotricity’s environmentally conscious customers.
