Energy Response selects Gentrack Velocity for Demand Response Billing

25 March 2010: Gentrack, a leading developer of specialist utility billing and CRM software, announced today a new contract to deliver its Gentrack Velocity software to Energy Response, Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest Demand Response (DR) aggregator.

Energy Response delivers a range of innovative solutions to provide DR to its customers (System Operators, Retailers and Networks) across Australia (NEM and WAEM) and New Zealand. Energy Response sources, aggregates, schedules, dispatches and settles capacity made available by electricity consumers (DR Providers) in Australia and New Zealand for use by Energy Response’s utility customers. Providers receive financial benefits for the use of their capacity in Energy Response solutions.
