Gentrack participates in NZ Business & Investment Mission to Saudi Arabia

September 2025: Mohammed Al-Humoud, General Manager GCC at Gentrack, joined the New Zealand Trade Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with accompanying Business Delegation,ย led byย New Zealand Minister for Trade & Investment, and Agriculture Hon Todd McClay. Gentrack was among 21 New Zealand companies selected to represent technology and innovation as part of this mission.

The mission, as announced in the Beehive.govt.nz release, focused on strengthening trade and investment ties with Saudi Arabia – recognised as one of the worldโ€™s fastest-growing markets and central to the Vision 2030 agenda. It presented an opportunity for Gentrack to engage with Saudi partners and fellow New Zealand businesses, to explore collaboration in energy, tech, and infrastructure.

Over two days of meetings and site visits, Mohammed and the delegation discussed opportunities for partnership, insight into market regulation, and potential alignment with Saudi Arabiaโ€™s energy transition and digital transformation goals.

For Gentrack, the mission was a chance to demonstrate how our utility solutions can support the Kingdomโ€™s needs while building relationships that may see future projects and cooperation.

This mission reinforces Gentrackโ€™s commitment to supporting utilities in fast-growing markets and to building partnerships that enable smarter, more sustainable operations. By engaging directly with regional stakeholders, we are continuing to expand our presence in the Gulf and contribute to the Kingdomโ€™s ambitious transformation goals.
