Fiona Oliver joins the Gentrack Group Board

Gentrack Group Ltd (NZX/ASX: GTK) is delighted to welcome Fiona Oliver to its board, elected as a non-executive director at the company’s annual meeting. Fiona is an experienced director and chair with board roles at BNZ Life Insurance Limited, BNZ Insurance Services Limited and National Wealth Management Holdings Limited and has over 30-years’ experience in governance and business leadership.

Ian Black, Gentrack CEO said, “We’re excited to welcome Fiona to the board. She brings a wealth of governance and operational expertise that will greatly support the continued oversight of the Group. Her financial, legal and risk management skills gained over many years and Executive level leadership roles in asset management, funds management and private equity make her a great fit for Gentrack as we continue our international growth and journey to becoming a SaaS business.”

In addition to her roles with BNZ, Fiona is currently Deputy Chair of Public Trust and a Director of Tilt Renewables Limited, an innovative green electricity generation business listed on the NZX and ASX. She is also a current member of the Inland Revenue’s Risk and Assurance Committee and in 2014 and 2015, was actively involved in the Global Woman Breakthrough Programme and Ernst & Young Entrepreneurial Women Programme.

Fiona holds a degree in Law and Arts from the University of Auckland and is a qualified Solicitor in New Zealand, New South Wales and England. Prior to a career in management, Fiona practiced as a corporate and commercial lawyer at a senior level in Auckland, Sydney and London, specialising in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
